How to configure your email

Outlook Desktop

  1. Go to File > Add Account
  2. Select Manual setup  or additional server types > Next, then POP or IMAP > Next.
  3. You will then be asked to enter the mail server settings for your account:
    1. Email address/Username: your full email address
    2. Password: your email password
    3. Server information
      1. Account type: select POP or IMAP
      2. Incoming mail server: mail.[yourdomain] (for example: mail.example.com)
      3. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.[yourdomain]
    4. Click More Settings ... 
    5. On the Outgoing Server tab, select the box for My outgoing server requires authentication. On the Advanced tab, enter the port numbers and encryption options:
      1. IMAP ports: 143 or 993 (SSL enabled)
      2. POP ports: 110 or 995 (SSL enabled) 
      3. SMTP ports: 465 (SSL enabled) or 25, 26, 587 (SSL disabled).
    6. Select OK > Next.
  4. That's it! Select Finish to start using Outlook.

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Go to Tools > Account Settings. Each email or newsgroup account that has already been configured is listed on the left side of the Account Settings dialog.
  2. Click the Account Actions button and select Add Mail Account….
  3. Enter your email account details (name, email address, password) and press Continue.
  4. Thunderbird will try to determine your account settings based on the domain portion of your email address.  Press Manual Configuration then edit the server names, port and IMAP/POP, and then press Done.  Note that it's important that you set server names, port and IMAP/POP before clicking Manual Configuration.
    1. Server information
      1. Incoming mail server: mail.[yourdomain] (for example: mail.example.com)
      2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.[yourdomain]
      3. IMAP ports: 143 or 993 (SSL enabled)
      4. POP ports: 110 or 995 (SSL enabled) 
      5. SMTP ports: 465 (SSL enabled) or 25, 26, 587 (SSL disabled).
  5. That's it! If the credentials entered are correct, your email should start working now.

iPhone,  iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords and tap Add Account.  If using iOS 10.3.3 or earlier, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts and tap Add Account.
  2. Tap Other, then tap Add Mail Account.
  3. Enter your name, email address, email password, and a description for your account. 
  4. Tap Next. Mail will try to find the email settings and finish your account setup.  If Mail can't find your email settings, then you need to enter them manually. Tap Next, then follow these steps:
    1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If unsure which one to choose, please contact us.
    2. Enter the information for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
      1. Incoming mail server: mail.[yourdomain] (for example: mail.example.com)
      2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.[yourdomain]
    3. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them.

If you encounter any SSL errors, please contact us.

Android

  1. Download and open up the Outlook app.
  2. Press Menu and tap Add Account
  3. Fill in your email and password in the spaces provided. Click Next.
  4. Select IMAP Or POP for your new account. If you are unsure which one to choose, please contact us.
    1. Enter the information for incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Tap Next.
      1. Incoming mail server: mail.[yourdomain] (for example: mail.example.com)
      2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.[yourdomain]
    2. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish.

Apple Mail

  1. Open Mail and click Add Account.
  2. A list of emails will appear. Select Add Other Mail Account option.
  3. Enter your email account information. This will include your full name, email address and your password. Click Next.
  4. If Apple Mail cannot connect to the mail server, you will eventually be taken to a menu where you will have to enter the information manually.
  5. Enter the information needed for each space. Your email address, username (it should be your email address) and password.
    1. Incoming mail server: mail.[yourdomain] (for example: mail.example.com)
    2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.[yourdomain]
    3. Click OK once you've filled in the information
  6. If you're using an older version of Apple, you may need the IMAP and POP SSL ports.
    1. Server Information:
      1. IMAP ports: 143 or 993 (SSL enabled)
      2. POP ports: 110 or 995 (SSL enabled) 
      3. SMTP ports: 465 (SSL enabled) or 25, 26, 587 (SSL disabled).
      4. Click OK to finish!
