How do I create email addresses in cPanel or Plesk?

cPanel

To set up an email, log in to cPanel and go to Email Accounts > Add Email Account. If you have multiple domains, be sure to select the correct domain in the Domain drop down menu. Once you've filled in all the necessary information, click Create Account.

In order to log into Webmail from cPanel, you will need to click on Access Webmail for the email address under Email Accounts. Once you do so, you will be presented with 3 webmail client options:

  • Horde
  • RoundCube
  • Squirrel Mail

Feel free to choose any webmail client that you'd like. Alternatively, you can access your webmail through these options:

To set up your new email address in a desktop or mobile email client, please follow the instructions in this article.

Plesk

Log into Plesk and click on Mail > Create email addresses. Fill in all of the necessary information, and click OK.

To access Plesk when logged in to Plesk, go to Mail, and in the list of email addresses, click the icon  corresponding to the email address you wish to access.

To access webmail outside of Plesk, you can connect to the webmail interface via web browser at mail.example.com where example.com is your domain name. To set up your new email address in a desktop or mobile email client, please follow the instructions in this article.
