How can I block messages from a specific address?

If you want to block emails from a particular sender, follow these steps:

Blocking messages for email accounts on cPanel

  1. Log into cPanel and go to:
    1. If you want to block messages from a specific address for all accounts, go to Email > Global Email Filters
    2. If you want to block messages from a specific address for one account, go to Email > Email Filters and click the ‘Manage Filters’ link next to the account you want to block messages for
  2. Click the Create New Filter button
  3. Enter a name for your filter, and under the Rules section, choose From and equals in the drop-down menus
  4. Beneath the drop-down menus, still under the Rules section, enter the email address you want to block messages from
  5. In the Actions section, use the drop-down menu to choose what you want to do with incoming messages from the address you entered in the previous step
  6. Click the Create button to add the filter and block messages from that email address

Blocking messages for email accounts on Plesk

  1. Log into Plesk
  2. Go to Mail and click on the email address for which you want to block messages to
  3. Select the Spam Filter tab
  4. Click + Show Advanced Settings on the bottom left-hand corner
  5. Enter the email address you would like to block messages from to the Black List section
  6. Scroll down and click the OK button to save the changes
