What is a parked domain and how do I add one?

A parked domain is a domain alias that points to your main website. For example, let's say your main domain is example.com and you created a website for it. However, you also register the domain example.net but don't want to build another brand-new website. What you can do is use example.net as a parked domain, or alias, for example.com. When visitors type in example.net, they will see the same website as example.com.
Parked domains are free to use, however, you will have to own both domains as you will need to have control over the DNS. To add a parked domain:
- Log into cPanel
- Go to Aliases under the Domains section
- Enter the domain name and click Add domain
